We were at a pub last week where I heard this song and loved its lyrics like anything.... This is nothing but philosophy and that's the subject I love the most in its literal sense...
Its one of the Linkin Park songs with a somewhat interesting video (but I was not satisfied with the screenplay and picturization)..I have the lyrics here for all you guys:
It starts with one thing
I don't know why
It doesn't even matter how hard you try keep that in mind
I designed this rhyme
To explain in due time
All I know
Time is a valuable thing
Watch it fly by as the pendulum swings
Watch it count down to the end of the day
The clock ticks life away
It's so unreal
Didn't look out below
Watch the time go right out the window
Trying to hold on, but didn't even know
Wasted it all just to watch you go
I kept everything inside and even though I tried, it all fell apart
What it meant to me will eventually be a memory of a time when
I tried so hard
And got so far
But in the end
It doesn't even matter
I had to fall
To lose it all
But in the end
It doesn't even matter
One thing, I don't know why
It doesn t even matter how hard you try, keep that in mind
I designed this rhyme, to explain in due time
I tried so hard
In spite of the way you were mocking me
Acting like I was part of your property
Remembering all the times you fought with me
I'm surprised it got so (far)
Things aren't the way they were before
You wouldn't even recognize me anymore
Not that you knew me back then
But it all comes back to me (in the end)
You kept everything inside and even though I tried, it all fell apart
What it meant to me will eventually be a memory of a time when I
I ve put my trust in you
Pushed as far as I can go
And for all this
There's only one thing you should know

In the end it doesn't even matter

Luck by chance
Do you believe in luck....! At least I do. It’s the luck and fate which governs everything in life. I don’t take it in bad manner meaning I don't stop working hard. But still I believe in luck. I have seen people claiming that there is nothing like luck/fate, it’s just your karma which matters and I do agree but don't you feel that sometimes people get everything for nothing and others get nothing even if they have got everything at stake.
My stance on the matter is if something worked for me, it’s be god's grace and my luck, but if something doesn't then there must be something lacking in the efforts that I have put on.

Frustrations frustrations!!
Everyone seems to be so frustrated.. Some one is frustrated because of the house owner, someone because of his team lead, some one because of her boy friend's behavior, other because of not getting good appraisal.. Someone is frustrated because of not getting through some interview and others who show off (I really don't know whether they care for the country actually) patriotism are frustrated because of politics/mismanagement..
But I really hate the ones who get frustrated because of their friends working at a higher package than them. They never give a bloody damn shit to the fact that till yesterday they were working at a handsome salary as compared to their friends and today that guy has switched job and so has got a hike and has moved ahead in some or the other terms..
I am really out of this game because of whatsoever reason you say!!

MK Gandhi
2nd Oct was Gandhi Jayanti and all channels were showing some or the other movie involving Gandhi ji or patriotism. I was watching Gandhi movie directed by Richard Attenborough and starring Ben Kingsley as Gandhi. I must admit that I was flattened and thoroughly impressed by the way Ben has presented the character. Man, no Indian artist could have done that much justice to Gandhi ji’s character as was done by him. His way of talking walking, everything was just superb.
I had never given thought to Gandhi’s character in Indian history. But after watching that movie, without missing a single shot, I was really impressed by that person’s leadership qualities. I work in a team and I know the importance of a leader. But are people really able to live life as a leader is my question. You are made a leader because of the experience, but are you a leader in real sense. Would people walk miles altogether just for you? Are people passionate about what you say, command or do?
According to me, the parameters of being a leader have changed in today’s world. You can’t expect people to follow you blindly. People are much more learned and they are educated about the world around them and so they make decisions by logic and not just by enthusiasm or feelings. I bet there can’t be a person born in today’s world of a stature like Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. But still hats off to Gandhi, his philosophy of living life and his ideologies….
